Kinds of Essays

Which are essays? An essay is, in general, a written piece that delivers the writer’s view, but usually the definition is quite vague, sometimes overlapping with that of a document, a paper, a book, an guide, and even a brief story. Essays were traditionally used as a way to communicate one’s thoughts, to present information, and perhaps to pass off as academic or literature study.
